About the job

As a Merchandiser at MR MARVIS, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our product and commercial strategy. Sitting at the intersection of creativity and commerce, you’ll be responsible for building and managing seasonal product assortments that reflect our brand values and drive performance across all channels. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and a deep understanding of product lifecycle and fashion planning.

What you'll do


Merchandise Strategy & Planning

  • Build and own the seasonal and NOS Range Plan in line with MR MARVIS’ growth and brand goals.

  • Define our merchandise architecture, balancing innovation and core continuity.

  • Lead planning across categories, silhouettes, materials, pricing, and margins.

  • Manage the product lifecycle: from phase-in to phase-out.


Collection Building

  • Set the framework for each seasonal collection and product drops.

  • Maintain the right balance between NOS, fashion/core, and limited editions.


Go-to-Market & Launch Planning                                                   

  • Coordinate product launches across Marketing, E-commerce, Retail, and Supply Chain.


Channel & Store Planning

  • Define channel-specific assortments and store cluster strategies (A/B/C).

  • Ensure assortment depth and breadth match channel needs.

  • Build effective allocation strategies for stores and e-commerce.


Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner with Design, Product Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, Retail & E-commerce teams.

  • Ensure creative, commercial, and operational goals are aligned and executed consistently.

Execution & Merchandising

  • Guarantee accurate and appealing product presentation online and offline.

  • Support in creating compelling product storytelling and visuals.


In-Season & Post-Season Analysis

  • Track performance and adapt plans through reorders or allocation shifts.

  • Deliver post-season analysis and recommendations to optimize future assortments.

  • Analyze returns and NPS scores and translate the results into actionable insights to optimize assortment, product quality, and customer satisfaction.

  
Seasonal Transitions

  • Lead seasonal switchovers, managing timing and coordination of phase-ins and phase-outs.

  • Align with Inventory and Marketing to ensure smooth transitions.


What you'll bring

  • 7+ years of experience in merchandising within fashion or lifestyle brands.

  • Strong commercial acumen with a strategic and analytical mindset.

  • Solid understanding of fashion calendars, product lifecycle, and range architecture.

  • Expertise in assortment planning, pricing, and margin management.

  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.

  • Passion for fashion and retail, with a customer-first approach.

  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PLM, and merchandising systems is a plus.
