To support this exciting journey, we’re looking directly for a full-time (40 hours) HR Assistant who’s eager to dive into the world of HR and manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle. This fast-paced, dynamic environment offers great exposure and a steep learning curve, making it the perfect opportunity to develop your HR skills in a scale-up setting.

You love the administrative side of HR but also enjoy creating awareness around employee benefits. Juggling multiple tasks while keeping a sharp eye on priorities and deadlines is second nature to you. Most importantly, you’re a team player who thrives in an international environment and is ready to contribute to our dynamic team.

We’re now a team of six, managing everything on the office and HR front, empowering almost 250 employees across the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium. You’ll report directly to our Head of People, playing a key role in shaping the future success of HR at MR MARVIS and an outstanding employee experience.

What you'll do

  • Manage all HR administration for onboarding and offboarding, including contracts, agreements, sick reports, and other employee changes.

  • Maintain and develop the Employee Handbook, ensuring compliance with B-Corp HR standards.

  • Keep all HR systems up to date with the latest information.

  • Organize onboarding essentials: equipment, welcome gifts, and first-day preparations (soon in coordination with IT).

  • Handle Shiftbase administration and assist with new store openings, updating key HR documents and systems.

  • Promote well-being benefits 

  • Provide clear answers to employee inquiries.

  • Opportunity to support additional HR projects based on interest and availability.

What you'll bring

  • Completed MBO-4 or HBO HR(M) education, or relevant work experience in administrative HR.

  • Availability to work 40 hours per week.

  • Fluency in English, spoken and written.

  • Attention to detail and precision.

  • Approachable, sociable, and empathetic.

  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.

What we'd love to see

  • Basic knowledge of labor law in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and the UK.

  • Fluency in Dutch and/or German.

  • Experience with Nmbrs and Shiftbase.
