MR MARVIS is seeking a highly skilled Fit Technician to be the driving force behind our product development process. This is a hands-on role where technical expertise meets strong organizational and communication skills. You’ll collaborate closely with our product development, design, QC and purchasing & planning teams to ensure our collections meet our high standards for fit, quality, and efficiency and can be delivered in a timely manner. You will report into the Sourcing & Production Director.

What you'll do

• Serve as the first point of contact for size and fit within the company, overseeing all aspects from protos to bulk production.

• Lead fit approvals, maintain size specs, and ensure all garments meet our quality and sizing standards with a highly detailed, perfection-driven approach.

• Organize and run pre-bulk and final fit sessions, collection reviews, and fittings with the design department, ensuring timelines are met without compromising quality.

• Translate fit issues clearly into actionable pattern and construction changes, working closely with pattern makers, factories, and suppliers.

• Collaborate closely with our Portugal team, factories, and internal departments (design, development, planning), providing clear, structured feedback and resolving production issues efficiently.

• Actively participate in our PLM implementation, particularly around size specs, technical data management, and accurate administrative follow-up.

• Analyze customer feedback, returns, and exchanges, translating findings into continuous fit and product improvements.

• Support pattern, fit, and technical product optimization across collections, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and scalability.

• Communicate technical insights, fit decisions, and timelines clearly to internal teams and external partners.

• Work directly with stylists and photographers to ensure garments are represented accurately during photoshoots.

What you'll bring

• Diploma or higher in Technical Design, Pattern Grading, or equivalent preferred.

• 5+ years of experience as a Fit Technician in men’s wear with multi-product categories.

• Strong technical knowledge of garment fitting, tailoring, construction, patterns, manufacturing processes, and machinery.

• Hands-on tailoring experience with a trained eye for balance, proportion, and silhouette.

• Exceptional ability to identify fit issues and convert them into precise pattern solutions.

• Excellent organizational, administrative, and time management skills, able to manage multiple timelines and priorities independently.

• A perfectionist mindset with a strong eye for detail and quality craftsmanship.

• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Illustrator, and PLM systems (3D design tools such as Browzwear or CLO are a plus).

• Strong communication skills, able to clearly explain technical fit matters to both creative and production teams.

• Self-starter with a proactive, solution-oriented attitude.

• Fluent in English; Portuguese is a plus.
