Digital Product Owner
MR MARVIS is seeking an experienced, commercial and analytical Digital Product Owner to take its digital experiences to the next level.
We like to be in a position where we become better at making more impactful decisions about priorities for our e-commerce store and the digital-consumer-facing- roadmap. We have worked with tools like Contentsquare and Hotjar in the past but lacked the experience, time and engineering/design resources to find a decent return on the investment. Currently, we are in a much better position with regards to engineering/design resources so it’s time to bring a Digital Product Owner on board to shape the direction of our digital environments and increase the pace (and impact) of AB testing. In this role, as a business representative, you will work closely with engineers, designers and merchandisers and define their priorities based on commercially driven insights/opportunities.
The vast majority of our business is happening online, but we are also opening physical stores (currently we have 13 open stores). As a result, customers expect a seamless integration between online and offline. Examples include: online visitors wondering whether this product is in stock in-store or online customers coming to the physical store to return their order. Next to improving the digital experience / increasing the online conversion rate, you will integrate the online and offline experience into an omnichannel customer journey.
MR MARVIS is a fast-growing Amsterdam-based online menswear brand that is fully dedicated to delivering the perfect shorts & trousers. After a successful launch in 2016 it has become the #1 shorts brand in the Netherlands! Expanding quickly, with physical stores across Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and online presence in France, Spain, UK and Italy.
Our mission is to share positive energy around the world and make people feel marvellous. We do so by creating iconic designs, offering best-in class service and driving conscious decisions for people and the planet.
As a clothing brand, we want to take responsibility for the impact we have on the world. We aim for timeless design, conscious choices for more sustainable materials and local European production (handmade in Portugal) - in short we are an advocate of “slow fashion”. That is why we are working every day to reduce our emissions and create value for everyone who comes into contact with MR MARVIS. Therefore, we are proud to have become a Certified B Corporation (B Corp) . As a B Corp, MR MARVIS is part of a global community of businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental impact.
Being a force for good goes beyond producing- and selling sustainably, in the end it’s about people. In line with our mission, we participate in several charity and voluntary activities that in most cases focus on the people who sometimes feel a little less marvellous. Examples include: our employees visit elderly homes and dance with elderly who too often feel lonely, our employees help renovate homes for homeless people, and every year we participate in (and donate to) a charity campaign against child cancer (KiKa).
It is also reflected in various HR choices we’ve made so far: good pension plans and disability insurances, learning & development budgets, trainings & inspirational talks, daily healthy catered lunch (on the house), matching employees donations, monthly sport budget, free access to coaches & psychologists, and much more.
Shape a strong commercially driven strategy that a) improves our online business performance and b) enhances a seamless integration between our online and offline channels (omnichannel).
